Can we imagine what it would be like to live outside of our social conditioning where we would be free to live as empowered, free-thinking individuals? Social conditioning (also known as the collective unconscious or the matrix) describes the way in which we have been subconsciously told who we are, what is acceptable in our society, and how we need to behave in order to be loved and to ‘belong’. It has created, in reality, a world of hierarchy, competition amongst us, and separation from our higher selves. Social conditioning has taught us, amongst many things, that we cannot think for ourselves, feel for ourselves, or put our own highest good above anything else.
So…what would it be like to live outside of the matrix and truly live as empowered individuals? We are not far off from this reality as the matrix has already started to crumble, and we move toward a society of individual souls working together in community instead of fear and competition. We are, no doubt, at the cusp of a complete shift in global consciousness and the more we are in our own power as individuals the smoother this transition will be. Personal power comes from taking full responsibility for what we are creating, and for finding our own peace and happiness – which exists only within us as free-thinking beings.
Personal power also comes from taking responsibility for our awareness of the social conditioning that we have been living under and the shifts that are already under way. When we are informed we can take action as sovereign beings and from there we can create a strong, unified, and compassionate community. To do this we need to take it upon ourselves to be informed of the truth.

What would bring you joy right now? It’s time to take care of yourself in this moment. Even if it’s letting go of a thought or doing something small that would bring yourself back to you. Taking a break and real self-care can sometimes be difficult for others, but true love comes from loving yourself first.

Deep Self-Respect 16″ x 20″ Acrylic, charcoal and gold leaf on wood $490.00. For sale at the Wildbird General Store.
Are you listening? What is your soul asking you in this very moment? What is your soul asking of you from this life experience? Are you willing to follow this loving guidance down your true path? Listening to your inner wisdom and following through with thought, word and deed is the key to deep self-respect.
When we commit to ourselves first our life transforms from one of living on the surface to truly connecting with ourselves, others, and our life experience. Commit to honouring and respecting the quiet and steady voice within even when it is guiding you in a new direction, for this is how we find peace and understanding of all that we are creating.
Integrity, impeccability, compassion.
Jamie Sams & David Carson write in the book of Medicine Cards, “All animals are sacred, but in many traditions White Buffalo is the most sacred. The appearance of White Buffalo is a sign that prayers are being heard, the sacred pipe is being honoured, and the promises of prophesy are being fulfilled. White Buffalo signals a time of abundance and plenty.”
The albino animal paintings that I have created to shed light on the First Nations prophesy that when the albino animals are born in abundance it signals the time of great change. I hope to honour these sacred spirits and bring awareness to the necessity of prayer for our planet. The prophesy also speaks of bringing the five nations together in ceremony to heal the illusion of separation between all of our brothers and sisters around the planet.
Peace and Grace to you,
