New Creation

New Creation

When we step back and look at what we have created in our life we may see patterns that reoccur. The energy of the butterfly in the blackness reminds us that we are the very source that created the Universe. The butterfly in this picture represents creation and the black background is the void where pure possibility exists to create what is new and in alignment with our higher selves.  When we practice gently allowing what is
currently happening to us to unfold without judgement, and give ourselves permission to fully feel without getting hooked in with our old thought patterns we can start creating the new.

The more we are open to unlimited possibilities the more abundantly and quickly the Universe can deliver.

I have been painting animal spirit guides for about 6 years now and it’s been a really interesting and intense journey of spiritual growth.
What are animal spirit guides? In a nutshell the First Nations people believe that each animal and insect has its own wisdom or
medicine that can be a guide for you for your whole life or just through certain life situations. I think that using animal spirit wisdom can be very empowering and helpful in our journey to being our authentic selves.

This has certainly been my experience. Since starting these paintings each piece has been a powerful spiritual experience for me. It seems that what I’m painting at the time is exactly the medicine I need for my life at that moment.

I’ve been painting these animals and insects with the understanding that they were following that specific tradition until I recently
discovered that my each of my pieces has a whole new level of purpose and meaning. Some of the wisdom still comes from traditional First Nations Animal Medicine but these pieces have their own messages of love and empowerment.

So….I’m very excited to say that I’m creating my own set of oracle cards and each week I will be including one card and it’s message in this blog.

I am starting with the very first animal painting that I created back in 2006 which is called “Butterfly”.

Also, most of the artwork you will be seeing on this blog is available as art cards and prints and my website is being updated to place orders. The ‘Butterfly’ painting you see today is also available as an 11” x 11” print, an art card (minimum set of 10) and as a limited edition print 24” x 24”. An affirmation or works of wisdom can also be written on the print.

Shine your light!
